Scripture

“Then he said to me, ‘Prophesy to these bones and say to them, “Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!”’” (Ezekiel 37:4 NIV)

Ezekiel stood in a valley of dry bones. God asked if they could live, and Ezekiel was honest: “Sovereign Lord, you alone know” (37:3). Then God said: Speak. Not after the breath came. Before. The bones rattled as Ezekiel obeyed.

Whatever feels lifeless in your ministry, your church, or your calling, God can move. He still asks His leaders to speak His Word over dry places. He still does what only He can do when we declare what only He has promised.

Prayer

Sovereign Lord, You alone know what can come back to life. Make us leaders who declare Your Word before we see the proof. Breathe where we are dry. Amen.
