Scripture
“The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.” (Acts 11:26b NIV)
The Jerusalem church did not plan Antioch. They did not target it. They sent Barnabas only after they heard what was already happening. God seeded a whole new center of gravity in a place no one was watching.
The next renewal in your church may not come from the strongest ministry. It may be starting in the small group, the new volunteer, the unexpected conversation. Watch the quiet places. God often begins there.
Prayer
Lord, You started Antioch when Jerusalem leaders were looking elsewhere. Train our eyes to see the small places You are seeding. Send us where You are already at work. Amen.
