“I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten.” (Joel 2:25a NIV)
God did not say He would erase the years. He said He would repay from them. The hard chapters do not get deleted in God’s economy; they get redeployed. The seasons of loss become the credibility, the empathy, and the capacity He uses next.
Whatever has been eaten away, God can return its value. Your history is not your handicap. In His hands, it becomes your head start.
Prayer
Faithful God, You repay what was eaten. Take the years we wish we did not have and compound them into something only You can produce. Use what was lost. Amen.
