Scripture
“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.” (John 4:23 NIV)
Jesus crossed every line a respectable rabbi would have honored. He spoke to a Samaritan woman, alone, in the middle of the day, about deep theology. The script broke. A whole town came to Him.
Mission still breaks scripts. The conversation you have been avoiding, the neighborhood you have been overlooking, or the person you have written off may be exactly where Jesus is already at work. Follow Him there.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, You crossed every line that needed crossing. Make us churches that follow Your line-crossing pattern. Break the scripts that have replaced Your mission. Amen.
