Scripture
“Jesus replied, ‘Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.’” (John 3:3 NIV)
Nicodemus had every religious credential available, and Jesus told him none of them counted toward what mattered most. The most credentialed leaders are often the ones who most need a fresh work of the Spirit.
Your training is not the enemy of renewal. Self-sufficiency is. The new birth Jesus describes is still available, even to leaders who have led for decades. He is not asking you to start over. He is inviting you to lean on Him again.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, where we have learned to lead without leaning on You, renew us. Make us born again. Wake the dependence we let go quiet. Do what our credentials never could. Amen.
